Programme Overview:
P A Care Services is proud to offer the Live Well, Connect Well Respite Programme a structured daytime initiative designed to promote social engagement, independence, and well-being for vulnerable adults who are able-bodied but may experience a range of learning, developmental, or mental health challenges.
The programme provides consistent, safe, and meaningful access to community-based activities in and around Rainham, Essex, giving participants the opportunity to build confidence, form social connections, and enjoy a sense of routine and purpose, while offering families and carers valuable respite during the day.
Each day between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (Monday to Saturday), participants will take part in rotating themed sessionsand outings tailored to individual needs, interests, and support levels. The weekly schedule may include:
Art & craft workshops.
Music, movement & rhythm sessions.
Sensory storytelling & relaxation techniques
Cooking, baking & basic food prep
Budgeting and shopping outings
Group games and communication workshops
Visits to local parks, cafés, garden centres, and libraries.
Volunteering or supported employment tasters.
Trips to community events, museums or leisure centre.
Gentle exercise & walking groups.
Mindfulness or wellness sessions.
Nutrition talks and hydration checks.

It can be as short as a few hours or as long as several weeks—whatever suits your needs.
